I use it mainly for programming beats from one shots as I find it so much faster and intuitive than using audio in logic. there are lots of videos on youtube of integrating maschine with various DAWs. for me it's like my sketch pad where i scribble ideas down fast, then i drag the elements into logic and craft the idea there. I find it a lot of fun to use and really good for getting ideas out quickly while they're fresh. i have the mk2 hardware with the 2.2 software. I use it alongside logic either in standalone mode or as a plugin. Finally there is a topic that I might be able to give something back to! So.
